About This Experience
View the most south-westerly point of the African continent as sailors centuries ago would have done. Experience the thrill of paddling in the vicinity of this, the fairest cape. Take in the dramatic cliffs and beaches of Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Enjoy the Cape of Storms from a different perspective as you paddle in a stable and sturdy double sea kayak.
Departing from Buffels Bay in the Cape Point Nature Reserve, you will hug the coast towards Cape Point. Keep a look out for whales and dolphins which enter False Bay seeking shelter. Get the opportunity to explore sea caves and ride the swell off the point before returning to Buffels Bay for a well-earned lunch.
You’ll need to be fit to enjoy this experience although no kayaking experience is required. All entry fees into the reserve, refreshments and lunch are included in the experience. After your paddle, why not take the opportunity to explore some of this diverse eco-system. Look out for baboons, eland, bontebok and ostriches as well.
