About This Experience
Get your adrenalin pumping during this ideal introduction to abseiling. Set above a scenic bend in the Crocodile river in the Magaliesberg area you’ll want to admire the views before descending the cliff face.
After a comprehensive safety briefing, you are issued with your harness, helmet and other safety gear then it’s over to the edge of the cliff to be roped up before you step over the edge to begin your descent.
Then it’s a short trip to the start of your river rafting adventure! After a full safety briefing you are kitted out with lifejackets and helmets before you carry your two man inflatable raft to the river.
The excitement starts straight off with a moderately challenging descent down a weir – will you experience a thrill or a spill first off? Then navigate your way down the 4.5km route through an exciting series of grade 1 to 2 rapids and weirs before leaving the river shortly before it enters Hartebeespoort dam. Refreshments are included in this experience.
