About This Experience
Turn an ordinary day into something special with an outing in a helicopter along the Umgeni river to a cliff above Inanda dam for a picnic. The perfect idea for romantic proposals or just something extra special.
Upon arrival, meet your pilot and be fully briefed before climbing aboard the helicopter and taking off. Admire the ever expanding view as you climb above the city. Flying north – west you follow the Umgeni river as it winds its way through the hills out of the city. Admire the view as suburbia slowly falls away to be replaced by gorgeous Natal countryside.
Upon reaching your destination near the edge of the Valley of 1000 hills, you’ll land and be united with your picnic basket to enjoy a brief lunch before returning to the helicopter for the return trip to Durban. Bring your camera along for fantastic photo opportunities and to capture images of the fantastic memories of this experience
