About Your Experience
Enter the distinguished world of brandy distillation at this premier venue. Upon arrival receive your welcome drink and enjoy it ensconced in a comfortable armchair or outside in the sun-filled courtyard.
An audio-visual presentation introduces you to the world of brandy distillation in South Africa before you embark on your tour of the distillation process. Discover the traditional skill of coopering and luxuriate in the tantalising wood spice fragrances in the maturation cellar before meandering through to the tasting room to sample some of these classic potstilled brandies.
Your guide will introduce you to the different nuances of flavour of each of the three brandies you sample. Hand-made South African chocolates using the finest Belgian chocolate have been created to complement each brandy’s unique characteristics and enhance this taste experience. Sip on fine Brazilian coffee to clear the palate between each tasting as you sit back and relax with some of the world’s finest spirits ever made. Your experience will include a sampling of the potstills that won the 2008 International Wine and Spirits Worldwide Best Brandy trophy and the International Spirits Challenge Best Brandy title in 2008.
