About This Experience
Gift Experience offers you the opportunity to progress from passenger to pilot with our brand new hands-on flight training packages. In conjunction with the Brits Flying Club, you could find yourself in the cockpit and in control a lot sooner than you would have ever imagined.
This memorable journey is done over the majestic Magaliesberg area, which offers an abundance of scenic beauty to visitors. Your day starts with a safety briefing surrounding the Technam Echo flying experience and information on the plane, which is an overhead fixed wing aircraft. Flight inspections are done before you will be cleared for take-off. The pilot will take the plane to cruising altitude, show you how to turn the plane as well as how to make it ascend and descend, before handing the controls over to you!
As safety is a concern, the trained pilot will have immediate access to controls at all times, but will allow you to enjoy your time “at the wheel” as well as guide you through the whole process. The pilot will then take over to put this two-seater plane safely back on the ground.
