We send all experience packs to you the same or next working day that you order in our customised experience pack. Delivery is charged at a rate of R135 for ordinary couriered delivery and R350 for a Saturday service. Delivery normally takes 1 - 3 working days depending on region and delivery address. All deliveries have to be signed for upon receipt.
Gift Experience South Africa E-tickets will be sent to the email address on the order, within minutes of the receipt of the order. E-tickets are subject to the same terms and conditions, with these additions:
That no paper based voucher will be issued to the recipient of the voucher,
That the E-ticket should be printed and taken to the experience as proof of booking.

All gift vouchers are strictly valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please note that validity extensions are available out with this time, but will be charged as the difference in retail price compared to when the voucher was purchased. No extensions beyond three years from original date of purchase will be made.
A full refund is available from Gift Experience South Africa up to 14 days from the date that you (or the recipient) receives your experience pack. There is a non-negotiable R50 admin charge for refunds.
Refunds will be processed to the card used to originally purchase the voucher. Where that card is no longer valid or where a voucher was paid by bank transfer, we will request banking details from the purchaser to make payment by electronic channels.
The experience voucher is only available for the experience detailed. Each voucher sold is for one individual unless otherwise stated.
The descriptions of the experiences we offer are kept up to date. We work hard to keep the information up to date but cannot guarantee the accuracy of descriptions. The images used on this website for driving experiences in particular (especially those that are used for more than one location) may not exactly match the vehicles that you will use.
The experiences that we currently offer range across South Africa. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure a constant high level of service. If, in the unlikely event of a venue not being available, we’ll offer you another venue or another experience of the same value.
Every session length can vary and the times we have on this site are approximate. Usually, there will be other people on the experience with you and there may sometimes be some waiting time required.
Open vouchers with a cash value are only available to be redeemed at Gift Experience South Africa within 3 years of the date of purchase, which is marked on the voucher. Open value vouchers have no cash alternative value. The experience that is redeemed against the open value voucher is valid for one year from the date of conversion into an experience.
Some of our experiences have restrictions, such as age, size, weight or level of health. Each experience listing has information about restrictions, however you may be asked questions about this when it comes to booking a date and time for the experience you have booked.
We don’t consider those with disabilities to be any different from others, however for practical reasons some experiences may not be appropriate. For information about disabled access information please contact us.
By partaking in the experiences promoted and sold by Gift Experience South Africa you may be placed at some personal risk. You may be asked to sign a risk waiver or personal liability form on the day. Full safety information is provided and safety equipment is provided as required by the experience provider. Please note that Gift Experience South Africa is not liable for any event or incident that may happen as a result of your participation on the event. We would ask that you read the liability or safety information provided on the day and listen to any safety briefing given.
Sometimes experiences have to be postponed due to the weather. We would advise that you contact the experience provider (details on the voucher) on the day of your experience to confirm that the experience will not be affected by the weather.
Gift Experience South Africa accepts payment for products and services rendered by credit card or full-function debit card (VISA or MasterCard) online or over the telephone. In addition, you may elect to make payment by EFT/ bank transfer. A recent addition is Masterpass which permits those who use this e-wallet facility to use it to purchase off our website. Please note that Gift Experience South Africa cannot accept payment by cash or cheque.
All experiences we offer are on a first come, first served basis. This means that when you arrange your date and time you’ll be able to choose a time best suited to you and availability. Please note that Gift Experience South Africa cannot guarantee availability for a particular date and time unless confirmed in writing by us at or after the time of booking.
Gift Experience South Africa is not liable for any injury, death, mental distress or any condition developed as a result of going on and activity promoted on, or purchased through Gift Experience South Africa. Liability is held and underwritten by the experience providers. Please contact us for details.
Gift Experience South Africa requires all experience suppliers to be fully insured for all activities, equipment and other liabilities for activities and events provided to customers. Please note that Gift Experience South Africa is not liable for any event marketed or sold and customers are advised to request confirmation of insurance at the time of booking the experience.
For events arranged and delivered directly by Gift Experience South Africa full event insurance is provided and details can be provided on request.
Gift Experience South Africa will do what we can in the event of cancellation. We recommend that all customers contact the experience provider on the morning of the event to confirm that the event is going ahead as planned. Cancellations may be made at short notice (due to weather, mechanical or staffing problems) and we will do our utmost to contact you in this instance. Gift Experience South Africa is not able to reimburse you for travel or accommodation expenses if an event is cancelled.
Where the experience is no longer available or the experience provider no longer operates. Gift Experience South Africa has the following contractual requirements that state that the provider:
a) Arrange for the client to be supplied the product by continuing to offer the product to those clients for a reasonable time, or
b) Arrange for the product to be delivered by another company.
Gift Experience South Africa shall communicate with the customer as soon as possible should this situation arise.
Gift Experience South Africa reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the offer of sale of any experience without notice. Once purchased, the holder of the experience pack is entitled to that experience, except under the circumstances mentioned above.
Gift Experience South Africa updates the prices on our website on a regular basis to ensure the best deal for customers. In the event that a price is incorrect, we endeavour to contact you within 2 working days to highlight the error. Customers will be able to pay the difference or request a full refund, including waiving of the refund fee.
Prices quoted on offline promotional material are valid at the date of printing as indicated on the document. The latest prices are available on our website.
All prices include VAT . Gift Experience South Africa may change the price of an experience before purchase at any time and without prior notice. Gift Experience South Africa is VAT registered. (VAT no. 4110271642)

Gift Experience South Africa recognises the right to privacy and will not disclose any personal information which we may receive to any third party.
All disputes are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Republic of South Africa.
1.1.August to November Supercar Competition will be run by Alba Tourism Holdings (Pty) Ltd t/a Gift Experience South Africa.
1.2. Each person entering the Competition (entrants/you/your) and/or accepting a Prize in terms of this Competition agrees and accepts that the Competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on him/her.
Entries for the Competition will open at 09h00 on Monday 21 August, 2017 and will close at 17h00 on Thursday, 30 November 2017 (Competition Period).
3.1. In order to be eligible to enter the Competition:
3.1.1. You must be a legal, permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa;
3.1.2. You must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older with a valid drivers' licence;
3.1.3. If you are younger that 21(twenty ones) years of age, you need to be aware that additional insurances are payable to allow you to drive a vehicle should you be a competition winner. These cost R500pp.
3.1.4. You must be a natural person.
3.2. Notwithstanding clause 3.1, you are not eligible to enter this Competition if:
3.2.1. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Organisers, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Organisers;
3.2.2. You are an immediate family member of any of the persons specified in clause 3.2.1; or
3.2.3. You are a supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition.
4.1. Send a direct inbox message to any of the Gift Experience South Africa social media pages (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram). Reply to all the Supercar Competition posts that are posted on the Gift Experience South Africa Facebook page (www.facebook.com/GiftExperienceSouthAfrica), Twitter page (https://twitter.com/giftsa) or Instagram account (www.instagram.com/giftexperience) during the Competition Period and comment on the post. Posts will be changing with different entry criteria, ensure that you read each specific post carefully and enter accordingly.
4.2. Once you meet the requirements set out in clause 3 above and this clause 4, you will automatically be entered into the Competition.
4.3. There is no restriction on the number of times you may enter.
4.4. No automated entries will be allowed. Entries must be made manually by a natural person.
4.5. If your entry is submitted in a manner that in the sole discretion of the Organisers will provide you with an unfair advantage over other entrants, you will be disqualified from the Competition.
4.6. You are required to attend to the cost for your entry, including standard internet costs.
A random selection draw will take place from all valid entries received at the time of selection as winners of the Prizes subject to clauses 5.3 and 7.2. The Winners will be selected throughout the Competition Period on the following date:
5.1.1. All Winners will be selected on Friday, 8 December 2017.
5.2. The Winners will be the entrants who are determined in the sole and unfettered discretion of the judges as the entrants who submitted the most entertaining entries.
5.3. We will notify the Winners by commenting on the Winners’ entry post within 24 (twenty-four) hours from determination of the Winners to request a copy of each Winner’s identification document in order to validate his/her entry and to request further contact details. Each Winner will be required to provide an electronic copy of his/her identification document within 3 (three) days from being requested by us, failing which the Winner will forfeit the Prize and have no claim against us.
5.4. If a Winner does not reply to the notification message sent by us by within 3 (three) days from it being sent by us, that Winner will forfeit the Prize and will have no claim against us. In the event of a forfeiture as contemplated herein, we shall have the right to select a different entrant on the same conditions.
Each Winner will receive a specific Prize based on the Competition they entered.
6.2. The Prize and item may differ from images or items used in marketing material for the Competition.
6.3. We will contact each Winner to receive all necessary information.
6.4. The Prize, or any part thereof, may not be exchanged for cash but may be exchanged for another experience to the same commercial value. Prizes are transferable. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize, or part thereof, with any other prize of a similar commercial value.
Any reference to the Organisers/we/us/our includes the directors, members, partners, sponsors, agents or consultants of the Organisers, where the context allows for it.
7.2. The Winner will only be confirmed once a valid copy of his/her identification document is received and a validation process has taken place.
7.3. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions should it be deemed necessary in our sole and unfettered discretion.
7.4. The Organisers' decision regarding any matter concerning the Competition and/or arising out of these terms and conditions, including the determination of the Winner, is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.5. Where relevant, if a Winner does not accept the Prize as required herein, if an entry is not valid for whatever reason, if a Winner has breached these terms and conditions, if a Winner renounces the Prize or we deem such Winner to have renounced the Prize, we reserve the right to declare the Prize forfeited and/or choose a new Winner.
7.6. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the entrants or the Organisers in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
7.7. We will need to process your personal information to validate your entry as well as to contact you to offer you products and, if you are a Winner, to make the Prize available to you. By entering this Competition, you specifically and expressly consent to us processing your personal information for these purposes and you specifically and expressly consent to us contacting you for marketing purposes.
7.8. We assume no risk and/or liability whatsoever for the failure of any technical element in the Competition which may result in your entry not being successfully submitted and/or the Winner not successfully receiving or taking up the Prize. Once the Winner accepts the Prize, the Winner accepts the Prize at his/her own risk and associated costs of participating in that experience.
7.9. We assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, harm or damage arising from your participation and/or any Prize awarded in the Competition or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising. All persons, whilst participating in this Competition, indemnify and hold us harmless for any loss, damage, harm or injury (whether arising from negligence or otherwise) which may be sustained as a result of any claim, costs, expense, loss or damages which may be made by any third party.
7.10. If required by the Minister of Trade and Industry, the National Consumer Commission or for whatever other reason, we will have the right to modify or terminate this Competition with immediate effect and without notice of such modification or termination. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights, which they may have against us and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against us.
7.11. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook and any correspondence related to the Competition should be directed at us and not Facebook.
